The value of your investment includes:
My full presence and personalized care. I keep a lighter caseload so I can inhabit the spaciousness and deep attunement I hold for you.
Benefiting from innovative interventions and resources as I am always learning from books, podcasts and trainings.
Flexibility in real time: whether we meet in-person or virtual, we adapt to whatever life throws at you. I offer a consistency policy (please see below) to ensure optimal treatment efficacy.

In-person and online sessions to fit your needs
In-personSometimes, being in the same room together makes all the difference–no tech issues, just the energy of sharing physical space. We get to experience each other as full persons. To this end, I offer in-person therapy in Granada Hills and Northridge in northwest San Fernando Valley. My Granada Hills office is in the Citibank building with a free, convenient parking lot. My Northridge office is tucked behind the Toyota dealership.
OnlineFor those who value flexibility in accessing therapy wherever they are in California, I offer online therapy through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video system. For seamless service, please make sure you’re in a comfortable spot with reliable Internet access.
Insurance
I don’t take in-network clients. I am out-of-network for all insurance plans, so if you have a PPO plan, your insurance will cover part of my fee.
“Out-of-network” means that your insurance will cover a portion (usually between 40-70%) of the session fee after reaching your out-of-network deductible. This will cost you up front, and your diagnosis will be recorded, but it gives you the freedom to choose any licensed clinician and their records are more protected than if you go with an in-network therapist.
I can either provide you with a Superbill (a medical receipt for reimbursement purposes, which you submit to your insurance company), or use Thrizer, a HIPAA-compliant payment system, to simplify out-of-network payment.
Consistency Policy
I ask that you be as invested into your healing as I am to yours.
As we partner in this work, we are both committing to holding this mutual space for optimal growth and flourishing.
Due to this, you will be charged the full session fee for any sessions you cancel. I offer a generous rescheduling policy for sessions you cancel with notice (whether last minute or planned for in advance), subject to mutual availability.
You are not charged for sessions I cancel.

To become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I had to graduate with a Master of Social Work, and accrue 3,000 professional hours, for which I met weekly with a licensed supervisor to get feedback on serving clients clinically, ethically, and legally. I am also certified in EMDR, which required many hours of consultation, conducting EMDR sessions with clients, peer recommendation letters, advanced training, etc. I have over 10 years of experience providing social services and therapy to adults who suffer from trauma, anxiety, depression, mania, panic, etc. I continue to sharpen my skills by consulting weekly with therapist colleagues and by educating myself with books, trainings, podcasts, videos, etc.

I walk alongside millennial women fractured by pain, burdened by guilt and confused about their place in society. I teach clients to recognize and validate their needs, to set boundaries, and speak up for themselves even at the expense of external discord. I remind clients that life is worth living if they show up fully for themselves, even if that means heartache, suffering and grief. That on the other side of that is love, and experiencing the breadth of being human, and truly knowing yourself and others. I use somatic techniques like EMDR to help you feel safe and in your body, and to re-process trauma, along with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for practical tools to worry less and feel more regulated.

You will keep a credit card on file through my HIPAA-compliant payment processor (IvyPay). Payments are processed automatically immediately after each session. All credit, debit, HSA and FSA cards can be used.
If you choose to submit claims for out-of-network (OON) benefits, I can charge you on Thrizer, which includes an automatic claim submission. Alternatively, I can email you a Superbill at the beginning of each month for you to submit to your insurance company.
