How do I know if I’m ready for therapy?

You know because staying where you are costs too much. The consequences on your relationships, your job, your personal satisfaction–you can’t ignore anymore. They’re real, and the leaks are starting to show. Maybe you’ve been complying with everyone’s wishes, seemingly fine on the surface, but internally, you’re a cauldron about to boil over. The traumas you’ve endured as a kid while your parents were assimilating into this country are right back in your face–the normalized chaos of your household, the nonstop work ethic your family endured.

Let’s be real: caring for yourself wasn’t a thing in your family. Caring for others, was. And now you’re starting to give yourself permission to slow down and turn towards your fears, rather than running away. To dare to dream that you could handle whatever comes your way.

And maybe you’ve just kept going because that’s all you’ve known. But your health is starting to show–your blood pressure keeps creeping up, your muscles are constantly tight, you’re blowing up at loved ones. You’ve tried some of the things–journaling, listening to podcasts and influencers. You know you should develop better sleep habits but that’s easier said than done.

What is the cost of therapy now?

The cost of therapy is the price you’re willing to pay to bet on a different future. On rewriting your family script so you get to live a life you’re hopeful to wake up for. The good news is, you’re not alone. I’m here with you. We will get through whatever you’re going through, together. I will guide you through the changing landscapes, explaining what is coming. You will have language for what you’ve already endured. You will experience a wider range of feelings with more tolerance and compassion. You will listen to your body with more kindness. Let’s move forward together.

Make peace with your story & invest in your future.
